Born in Simi Valley and raised in the quiet charm of Lake Elsinore, California, Charressa grew up surrounded by inspiration—from the legacy of Old Hollywood to the quiet elegance of small-town life. As a child, she often imagined her hometown still buzzing with the glamour it once held as a 1920s escape for the rich and famous. That early fascination with beauty, refinement, and purposeful living stayed with her.
Professional Beginnings In Hospitality
In her twenties, she moved to Temecula, California, where she began her professional journey in the hospitality world, working in upscale wineries. There, she absorbed the rhythm of refined service—elegant yet relaxed, stylish yet grounded. It was in this setting that she developed her signature attention to detail, a skill that continues to shape every facet of her work today.
Behind the Scenes: A 15 Year Evolution
Before launching Charressa Deseree Designs full-time, she spent over 15 years working quietly behind the scenes—supporting artists, creatives, and professionals with wardrobe curation, personal organization, and lifestyle logistics.
From Interior Design to Full Lifestyle Curation
After relocating to Nashville in 2019, she initially served the area as an interior decorator, helping clients bring clarity and cohesion to their homes, workspaces, and private environments. Her natural sense of harmony and curation, along with her background in hospitality and styling, eventually led her to focus exclusively on styling lives—not just spaces.
